Rugs

Rugs have a long and interesting history across various countries and nations. Originally, rugs were dyed with the natural colourings to make the final rugs look fine and attractive. Until the invention of synthetic dyes rugs were painted by the Indian technology which used extracts from vegetables and fruits.

They added rich colours and different hues to the rugs made from natural wool yarn designed specially for rugs. Since the synthetic era rugs acquired even more popularity and became widely available. Yet, now rugs make their way back into traditional rugs-making based on natural dyes.

Ancient methods provide for rugs to cost less, to be non-toxic and easy to use. There is a wide variety of natural origin dyes. They are applied to weaving of all kinds of rugs to be used as floor or wall carpets.
